Frankie Heartless

‘The King with the Violin’

Frankie first picked up a violin at age 4. At age 10, Frankie began training at the London’s Centre for Young Musicians (CYM) where they would later train as a classical singer, alongside playing the violin. The rock and roll flair began to show during their teenage years and they played in many bands and began hosting their own Cabaret nights at 18, while still continuing to perform in orchestras, choirs and numerous operas, including the London Philharmonic Choir and St Martin-in-the-fields (as a choral scholar).

Frankie trained as a theatre costume designer and enjoyed many years of working in theatre, opera, musicals and drama schools. While their credits include designing and supervising Cats (Cyprus), Pirate Queen (London Coliseum) they began to miss performing and became a Drag King in 2018 and returned to music in 2020, when they briefly joined The Filthy Spectacula before focusing on a solo career.

Frankie Heartless is now an established artist in the UK scene and can be seen playing live music on stage at various events, from steampunk, to cabaret, to music hall, to folk music and metal. Please check the “Upcoming shows” page for more information.
